Quintessenz - GK geht immer, und buggt nur rum, wenn man ihn mehr als 3x in Folge heilen lässt => entweder wenn Pala pennt oder Theurg die Pets nicht richtig timed... (kann ich so bestätigen)
Standard 5 member Green Knight Set Up: - Paladin (make sure you are templated) - Theurgist - Reaver (for clearing tree spawns) - Cleric - Mercenary or Reaver (for dps)
The Green Knight will teleport every 15% drop in health and the last 5% as well. (Health points: 85%, 70%, 55%, 40%, 25%, 10%, 5%) The Green Knight will teleport to a random location and begin to heal himself if you do not interrupt him. IMPORTANT: If you let him heal up too much (3+ times in one go) there is a high chance that he will be bugged, causing him to teleport at random points or many times, causing tons of trees to spawn. You will need to reset him if this happens! One tree will spawn at every player location everytime he teleports. (Even on people who are NOT in your group!) Have the reaver clear aggro when that happens.
People seem to be having trouble knowing what their class is supposed to be doing. So here is a more detailed guide.
Paladin's Role: Basically, your job is to tank GK, keep aggro, and find GK everytime he teleports.
When on GK and taunt every chance you get. You should always twist heal chant!! MoB will help you not die, as well as being templated, make sure reaver has guard on you!
The hard part comes when GK teleports. Everytime he teleports, AGGRO WILL RESET. It is extremely important you twist heal chant here to establish aggro. Right before he teleports, the theurgist will pet spam GK, watch the pets and 1-2 pets should be chasing in the direction GK teleported. Run in the direction of the pets to find GK. There should NOT be a trail of trees following you on your run / when you are on GK, its the reavers job to clear the trees off you to keep block rate up!
It is recommended you slam GK when you find him. If you pull of a successful slam, run back to the center spot (where you were fighting). GK will follow you once his stun wears off. If you cannot slam him, walk backwards while facing GK back to the center and keep trying. NEVER NEVER run back with the GK on your back EVER!
*Remember, Twist Heal Chant.* The dps will likely be taking damage from the trees right after port, it is the perfect time to grab aggro by having your heal chant heal them.
Theurgist: Your job is to provide PBT (make sure you are in range of tanks), pet spam on teleport, DA/Haste, and keep hit rate up.
So obviously, have PBT up and DA/Haste every 10 mins. If you have enough power regen, try to keep 3 pets on GK at all times to keep hit rate up. If not then just save power for the pet spams. When you are medding between pet spams, sit within 1250 range of the paladin so that he actually will have your PBT (otherwise you are wasting mana).
GK will teleport at 85%, 70%, 55%, 40%, 25%, 10%, 5% health. At 2-3% health before he is due to teleport, start spamming pets! (MOVE to max range to start spamming pets - the pets will ONLY run after GK IF they are running towards him AS he teleports. They will NOT move once they are already attacking him). Once GK teleports, you can help CC some trees if reaver is not getting them all (keep them off the pally and cleric). Its important that you MOVE within PBT range for the paladin after teleport to give him PBT when he is reengages GK and brings him back to center spot.
The most important job is to make sure you spam pets 2-3% before teleport so 1-2 pets will be CHASING him as he teleports. If you DONT you can mess up the entire raid by bugging GK (if he heals too much cause you couldnt find him). So pay attention!
Reaver: Your job is to do do damage, guard the pally, and clear trees when they spawn.
Make sure you have guard on pally. You might want to have the paladin protect you and you protect the cleric as you will be generating a lot of aggro levi-ing. When the GK teleports, trees will spawn at each player location. The cleric and theurgist will probably be running towards you for peel when that happens. When they are at your location, make sure you pop your damage aura!! Once you have grabbed them all (IMPORTANT to keep off cleric and paladin!) you can dps them down with the merc.
Most important thing: keep trees off the tank, cleric, then the theurgist.
Cleric: Your job is to buff, heal, dont get aggro.
Make sure you have protect, and everyone has appropriate buffs!
Have DI up at the beginning of the fight so paladin can get aggro. Use small heals when possible to avoid getting aggro. Sit to med when you are not healing! When theurgist spams pets, you can AoE buff them.
When GK teleports, make sure you run towards the reaver so he can peel the tree that will spawn on you. AGGRO WILL RESET, so watch you heals. Use small heals and try to not spam too much. The paladin should be using heal chant, so dont bother healing the reaver/merc unless they are close to dying / heavy damage, and let the paladin get some aggro.
If you DO get aggro, stand still and have the paladin slam GK. Once he is slammed, run some distance away!!
DPS (reaver, merc, or even a scout): Do damage, help clear trees. Keep them off the paladin, cleric, and theurgist!
