Camelot Unchained is a MMORPG built upon three main pillars of gameplay, RvR, crafting and housing. It features a 100% RvR-based leveling track for all combat (non crafter) classes. All leveling comes from engaging in RvR whether by fighting other players, capturing objectives, and/or crafting objects to help in RvR. There will be NPCs (guards, fauna, etc.) but you cannot use them to level your character.
Camelot Unchained draws a lot of inspiration from both “old school” and modern games. We want Realm Pride & racial differences that matter, a crafter-only led economy with no auction houses but with player shops and bazaars. Player’s abilities/skills increase by deeds not by earning generic EXP. Magical items will not be found like road-kill on highways but must be made by our crafters and not dropped by raid bosses. Our housing system allows players to construct everything from huts to mines, and to fortify and rebuild massive structures. So far, we have committed to 12 races and classes at launch plus a unique pure “crafter-only” class and that number can go up, not down, over the next two years.
Camelot Unchained is a subscription-based and it will not transition to a free-to-play game nor will it allow a mixed FTP + PTP community outside of Asia (though Asian players can play on US/European severs). The game will also not have a cash shop for other than “old school” services like server moves. If you long for an RvR game that isn’t how to continually “monetize” you that draws on the literature/lore of everything from Arthur to Yggdrasil, welcome to your new home!

camelot unchained ist ein MMORPG mit dem schwerpunkt von gameplay auf RVR, craften und housing. Es wird ein 100% rvr level system sein dh. töten anderer spieler und eroberung gewisser objekte oder durch das craften von dingen zur unterstützung im rvr. es wird in händler und spielerbazare geben. spieler skills/fähigkeiten werden durch wörtlich übersetzt "Taten" was ein dehnbarer begriff ist erlangt, nicht durch den erhalt von EXP. Magische Iteams müssen durch spieler hergestellt werden und können nicht durch pvm bossraids erlangt werden. Das housingsystem ermöglicht es alle gegenstände herzustellen. Es ist geplant 12 rassen und klassen zu release zu implementieren + eine crafterklasse die zahl kann in den nächsten 2 jahren steigen oder fallen. camelot unchained wird ein abopflichtiges spiel werden, was für den us und den europäischen raum ausgelegt wird.

1. The Arthurians
The Realm of King Arthur is truly the embodiment of the heroic myths that Arthur learned as a boy. While their Realm does not belong to any one specific interpretation of the legends, Arthur’s belief in the nobility of spirit of the individual and how it can be channeled and directed for the betterment of all is well represented here. Arthurians believe that they are destined to save the world and while that makes them appear to be self-righteous (at least as far as the other Realms are concerned), their intentions are good even if they are a bit obsessive at times. Arthur, in part because of how he suffered as a child, is a stickler for inclusiveness and opportunity for any who want to follow the Arthurian Edicts. As a result, Arthur is beloved by his subjects and this was one of the things that began to undermine the relationship between the three brothers.

die rassen bei den arthurians
Cait Sith ( katzenartige humanoide ) für welche klasse sie verfügbar sind wissen sie noch nicht aber es läuft wohl auf assasine heraus.
Gargoyles ( versteinerte drahtig/schlanke wesen ) dadurch das sie aus stein sind, haben sie hohe resistenzen gegenüber melee dmg
Humans ( Menschen ) sollen großes verständnis für magie in jeglicher form haben
Storm Riders ( Menschen besondere menschenrasse ) gute melee kämpfer und hohe magie resistenz
St`rm ( von der körperform ene mensch/elfenbildung mit flügeln ) wnig bekannt bisher bis auf das der kampfstil das tanzen sein soll
2. The Tuatha de danan
They are called tree huggers, nature lovers, etc. but the Tuatha De Danann are anything but that. Yes, they revere the forest and everything that lives there but members of this Realm defy the typical expectation of others. While they don’t worship at the altar of battle like the Vikings nor do they seek to govern others like the Arthurians, the Tuatha De Danann are proud, noble beings who are all about overcoming the challenges that this world has thrown at them and becoming wiser and stronger because of it. The TDD race of the Bean Sidhe is the embodiment (or would that be dis-embodiment?) of that belief. While they see death as part of greater cycle, they will fight to the last TDD to prevent that from happening to those under their protection. Those who go into their forests and expect to see a bunch of wing-wearing, scantily clad, tiny faeries will be in for quite a shock when they encounter their first Hamadryad. Consider yourself warned.
