Standard Legion Raid is about 24 people. This works out well as he usually drops just over 24 pieces of loot, and with 24 its a decent speed kill.

Setup:
3x Pallies
3x Guard Tanks (reaver, scout, shield merc, etc.) preferably ones who can float gaurd like pros.
3+x Theurg. can be done with only 2. but more theurgs = faster killing
6x Cleric

thats 15+/24: remaining 9 or so slots
1x matter cabby. to bring back old meme. more dots!
1x mind sorc for mana regen (optional), most good clerics have pom 4 charges.
6+x merc they are a dime a dozen on uthgard and are good dps
more theurgs. because theurgs are OPed. and unlike everyone else, the pets dont get ported, so its consistant dps.

each group should have at least:
1x pally
1x gaurd tank
2x cleric
1x theurg
rest dps

Directions:
-In case you dont kow how to get there. open /map in DF.
-go down till you get to hulks. turn itno the passage with gatekeeper domel
-from there you want to get to the big room in the south south east. which is a lot of south mixed with a couple turns to keep going east.

Strategy:
- He doesnt port till 50%. try to use much of the time getting him down on health to let your main tank build aggro. A lot of raids limit people to only detaunting prior to 50%
- below 50%, full dps. if you get ported, run back to portal. dont tough behemoth unless you want to get one shot and never get rezzed.
- rez dead people asap
- assign healer main assists. because legion hits hard. you will die fast if only 2 clerics trying to keep you up.
- have everyone make macros that say /bc AGGRO ON ME! so that healers can target them to heal. these are only necessary to be used on the chancellor and legion himself. none of the other mobs hit very hard. keep in mind that people are dumb and have no idea when they actually have aggro, so its easier to just watch who the mob is facing or swinging at. this is especially true vs chancellor because he has an ae nuke. people take 50 dmg from an ae and suddnly the bg if filled with AGGRO ON ME! spam.

Loot (in order of value):
- slim chance of necklace of the body dropping. dont hope for it, because even if it does drop, your chance of winnign it in the lotto is down around 4%. making the total chance of getting it about 1%. so unlesss you indend to go on 100 legion raids, id suggest farming churiel 10-15 times with a 4 man and getting akars barrier instead for a str con charge.
- legion always drops 2 stacks of 250 diamond seals
- about 5-8 RA Respecs
- about 2 Cleansing Stones
- about 5-8 Full Skill Respecs
- Misc useless crap, including bad items with bad procs, and some ok items with nice utility but bad procs. some of the weapons with LT procs arent terrible, but LT is only good for solo non dps classes. for dps, a 95 delve dd or dot will otu dmg a 65 delve LT any day.
- 4ish Grand Recharge Stones
- Potions of the Mentor
- Set treasurer when leaving from top. raid leader skims all diamond and fiery diamond seals ~200 seals. unless you wanna be nice and include those as an item.

what is done with leftover loot should be decided before raid starts. you have the option of lottoing the leftovers, going top down then bottom up, or repeating from top, or just keeping the crap that nobody wanted. just be clear what the rules are going to be, and people will accept anything.

IF YOU GET GANKED WHILE ON LEGION:
- have someone in main group log out if you can. with the last loot patch (dmg vs kill shot), whatever group does the most dmg gets the loot. this means if your merc filled main group does the most dmg, and then mids jam your raid and kill everyone, even if they kill legion, your loot will sit on the ground.
- the enemy mgiht realize what happened and camp out waiting for you to log back in, they mgiht not. but at least you gave it a shot at tryign to salvage the loot from a busted raid.

Beim letzten Legionraid waren wir auch nur zwei Gruppen - abweichend zu obigen Setup waren haufenweise Theurgen am Start - Legion fiel so schnell um, da konnte man kaum reagieren....

There has been some changes on Legion, so here is an updated guide to running your own Legion Raid!

Standard 16 man set up:
Group 1: Pally, Cleric, Cleric, Cleric, Theurgist (red pbt!), Reaver, Reaver, Reaver
Group 2: Pally, Cleric, Cleric, Cleric/Reaver, Theurgist (red pbt!), Reaver, Reaver, Reaver

You can do raid with 5 clerics, just make sure they are good clerics. Not the afk ones, you know. If you get one afk and the other ones die in Behemoth room, you have a failed raid on your hands!


Being Picky:
Try to get a paladin with atog!
Clerics should have DI2 (some with DI1 is fine too).
Theurgists preferably should have RED PBT (I mean you only need 2 theurgists so shouldnt be too hard to find)!
Try to get as many reavers as possible, and not substitute for weird things like infils, friars, minstrels (people should make a raid class if you want to raid!)... as this will increase the chances for your raid failing! Not enough dps = taking longer to kill legion = more chance of add spawns, ports complicating things, losing df and hibs coming to laugh at your set up



The Fight:
- Clerics in each group should pop DI2 and coordinate when its up/down. Dont heal too early or you will get aggro!!
- One paladin with better MOB go and tank legion. The rest join and wait a bit before levi-ing. (One of the reavers will likely get aggro later on, so its up to you when they can start levi-ing. If you have enough healage it should be fine.)
- Have theurgists spam full mana bar of earth pets. Keep pets to a minimum after 50% legion health! (~ 4 pets max)
- After 50%, he will start to port people to the Behemoth room. Behemoth will now actively chase after someone in the room. So if he does chase you (but is not going to catch up) keep running forward and port out. If he starts chasing you right when you enter hallway, and doesnt look like you can make it, then kite back to the room and wait till he comes closer and run around him (no undead souls to snare you here so you should out run him for sure), and head for the exit...
- Obviously run back through portal after port, and tell you group and bg if you've died there so they can rezz!
- When adds spawn - everyone but tanker + guarder should focus on killing them! Dont let the adds wipe you support!!
- Have pally pop atog near the end for a faster more exhilarating finish


Message Spams to Have for BG:
Clerics please make ASSIST macros for each other to assist in heals!
Clerics in the raid are:

Clerics make sure you have protect on you! Check now and ask in group if you do not have it!
Tanks make sure you have guard on each other! Coordinate within your group to make sure you have cross guarding each other!
You may get ported during the fight, make sure to switch guard so that the aggro-holder has guard at all times.

Everyone should make an AGGRO macro, to spam when you get aggro. Please test it out after making one to ensure it works. SPAM it when you have aggro so clerics will know who to heal!

Tanks and healers also make a PORTED macro, to spam when you get ported!

Adds will repsawn during the fight. Everyone should focus on killing adds when they spawn except for the aggro-holder + guarder.
When you see this macro - please focus on killing adds
ADDS SPAWN! KILL ADDS!!

Legion will start porting after 50% health. He will teleport you to the Behemoth room. Behemoth may be chasing you, so watch out and kite him if needed. Run back to the portal to return to legion. Undead mobs on the ground will snare you so watch out!
If you died inside Behemoth room make sure to say so in group and BG so the clerics will know to rezz you when they get ported!

Theurgists can unload full mana bar of pets at the start. After legion has fallen to 50% - keep only 4 pets max on him! If you have too many pets - target and release the pets to clear them!

The paladin will attack first and tanks can detaunt. After theurgists fully pet spammed, you can start full dpsing.
[You can say dps detaunt till 90% health before they start doing full dps if you want to play it safe. Imo, the reaver always ends up getting aggro so there's no point waiting. Just make sure your clerics are paying attention lol.]

Clerics make sure your DI is up and running! Clerics, please call when DI is up/down in your group so you can coordinate! Do not heal too early or you will get aggro! Please wait for DI to deplete before healing!
